Tips to Use Steam Cleaners for Cleaning Floors

Steam Cleaners for Cleaning Floors
Steam cleaners are one of the most powerful hard surface cleaners. These machines are also versatile. For example, steam cleaning machines can be used to spot clean mats and carpets. However, its primary claim to fame is for cleaning and sanitizing floors and other hard surfaces.

This post provides some useful tips on using and selecting steam cleaners for cleaning floors and hard surfaces.

Output Temperature
Steam cleaning machines function by ejecting high temperature output up to 386°F that melts stains, dirt, and other impurities on hard surfaces. Higher temperature output often means greater cleaning efficiency. However, it is important to make sure your surfaces can withstand high heat before proceeding.

Some sophisticated models of steam cleaners in Daimer®’s KleenJet® series, including the KleenJet® 10176-443 CVP, can provide output temperatures as high as 386°F. Such machines can melt even very deeply bound dirt and stains.

Extraction Mechanism
Ordinary steam cleaning machines can only melt or dissolve the impurities. Previously, cleaning workers removed the molten dirt residues manually by using a towel or separate vacuum.

Modern steam cleaners in Daimer®’s KleenJet® series are equipped with vacuums for dirt removal. It makes the extraction process faster and more efficient.

Use Carefully
When using steam cleaning machines, one should be aware of its output power. The high temperature output can melt or destroy soft substances. Therefore, paper, plastic, or linen substances must be kept away from the output of the machine.
